I wanted to let everyone know of the passing of a talented 462: Darrell Laughlin. Darrell Served from 1977-1997. Darrell passed away on 04 May 2011 of cancer after a year-long battle. He leaves behind his wife (a 461), two supportive daughters, and two wonderful grandchildren.

R.I.P. You will not be forgotten.

I worked with Darrell here at Robins on many occasions while the MMHE liaison. Then, after retirement, I ended up filling in for him while he was in treatment. He came back to work for a while but ultimately lost his very brave and hard-fought battle. Darrell was a true gem, not only as a 462, but as an Airman and human being.
