Was initially trained on F-4E's, then B-57G's (13th TBS) at MacDill, then transferred
to Ubon 9/70. Spent my last 9 months in Ubon loading F-4C's
Comments: From reading many of your comments
I get the distinct impression that Air Force life today is substantially different
than what I experienced. There seems to be a strong sense of "esprit de corps",
something which was not prevelant during my time of service. In that regard
I envy you. I happened upon this site while doing research on Thailand and will
continue to visit it regularly. I hope to see more posts from guys from my era,
especially anyone who remembers the "hot load" turn-arounds (engines running,
flight crew strapped in) in '70 & '71.
