Comments: I was literally forced out of the 462 field in 1994. I retrained as
a Health Services Management Tech. I currently am doing a special duty as
the FTAC Superintendent. I sew on SMSgt Next year sometime. Life is good,
but not as good as it was as a weapons loader. Loaders were down to earth! I'll always
remember the good and bad times at Clark AB, the PI, Daharan Saudi Arabia, and Kunsan
AB Korea....I am surprised I am still
alive!...Good riddens to all my fellow wpns peeps who taught I would not
make it past SSgt AMMO! Sucks!

Comments: I've always had great Crews. From
Mids at Kadena loading the F-15Cs and Ds with Air to Air stuff to Swings at
Barksdale on several Rattler Crews (yes, the slide system of my design is still
the best way to lock up a box)including Rattler 4 (2BW Load Crew of the year
-- hooyah) to Rattler (my tooth fell out)8 Ball rolling. From Osan working out
and working Swings and Mids, Back to Barksdale working Swings and Days on Cobra
6. Off to OTS where I had no crew. Thanks to everybody... I sure miss the flightline...
Yes, I'm now "ammo" but, I defend WEAPONS TROOPS daily against the onslaught

Comments: Got out in '76 and went to work
in Iran with Bell Helicopter as a 462 on Cobras, Huey's and JetRangers. Stayed
with helicopters. Left Iran in '79 after Revolutionary Guard shot all the windows
out of the Tehran Hilton on a C-141 evac. Found a home in Brazil for the past
23 years, the last 15 of those with Bell as a Customer Support Rep. Mostly civilian
ships but I still get to hang guns on the police helicopters from time to time
or do a Cobra demo. Love the smell of that cordite!!! 462's will always be 462's.
Keep up the good work and carry the flag into the future.
